The clicking you heard is normal as the fridge panel is looking for an alternative power source. We found that when igniting it on gas you have to wait at least a few minutes before the gas gets to the fridge. The green lights that are flashing are the source (electric) and cooling level indicators at the same time. We are connected to electric but changing it to gas it still does the same.
The N1is an all round way fridge working on either volt, gas or mains which makes it perfect for your caravan or motorhome. Freezer appears to be working ok. Dealer is mistified and has no ideas. All thoughts welcome.
