This arrangement forms a three-way contractual agreement binding together the housing authority, tenant and landlord. Mission Statement: A union of tenants in the city of Ithaca, we exist to advocate on behalf of individuals as well as the entire renting community.

Students and full-time residents alike are almost categorically overcharged and underserve our rights regularly violated. Together, we will match and then overcome the power of landlords to achieve the universal goals of dignity, affordability. People of color, women, immigrants and refugees, LGBTQI individuals, and people with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. As a tenants union we are deeply concerned that tenants are going to be disproportionately impacted. Quarantine requires safe housing and the resources to stay put.

We have been organizing around the clock to fight for our human right to housing, especially during this time of crisis. We are a diverse, member-driven organization with the purpose of combining direct action with political action to forge better living conditions through Washington, DC.
