The coaches were really comfortable, everyone goes on the trip intending to get along. Before international travel was even banned I chased up topdeck for weeks asking what would happen if it was cancelled. I paid for all my own additional expenses.

Trust us, we’re all there with you. I jumped on this tour with very little notice and planning, and I was thoroughly impressed. The meals provided were delicious, and they worked hard to cater to dietary needs.

Amazing staff who are very friendly and also extremely knowledgeable. My trip was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of it. My impression, and it is only an impression, is that the Top Deck tours are more about the party than the countries visited. But if you choose such a holiday, you often have to take the chance to be travelling with people that are all way older or younger than you are. The company is made up of like-minded nomads and employees are treated very well.

However, the pay is pretty dismal. Portscatho is a pleasant village to stay in with a good pub, butchers, shop and coffee bar. It is right on the SW coast path so excellently placed for walking.

There were crazy and not as crazy moments. I have done Intrepi and they were much better. We are a small hostel, in the perfect location. Some roads aren’t meant to be travelled alone!
