Can a doctor certify a document

How do you certify a document? Who can certify my Documents? Can a solicitor certify a document? What is a certified document?

Most banks wont now as there is a liablity that comes with certifying documents. Those that can do it tend to charge now to cover time and liability unless they are involved in the transaction themselves. Ensure the authorised person writes their name, signs each statement and provides their designation (police officer, pharmacist).
