First of the explainer video series that tells the story of Smarter Working for AGL employees. AGL is undergoing a massive and exciting change - from the traditional working environment of allocated desks to activity based working or as AGL calls it, Smarter Working.

With this, AGL is moving to a low paper environment, heavily supported by technology. With this, we needed a way to get the thousands of AGL employees ready for a big change in how they work. Smarter working : For more than three years now, we have been transitioning our corporate offices to ‘ smarter working ’ environments, combining people, places and technology to facilitate the development of an anticipatory culture.

During FY1 we moved into new, smarter working environments in Sydney and Brisbane. Our new head office at 2George Street, Sydney, has been awarded the 6-Star. As a large Australia-wide organisation, AGL has a lot of internal messages that need to be sent out and absorbed by their staff.

And a lot of these aren’t sexy –they are very important but functional messages, such as information on how to report hazards, ergonomics best practice and updates to the workplace structure.

We were requested to find a way to communicate these messages in an. The aim of these videos is to increase understanding and foster acceptance of a brand new way of working in the new AGL office in Melbourne.
